Manoj Bajpayee’s upcoming movie “Bhonsle” to release in August next year

Manoj yesterday announced on his twitter handle that he wrapped up shooting for his next film, titled, ‘Bhonsle’.

Manoj Bajpayee's upcoming movie Bhonsle is based on his 2016 short film "Taandav." Manoj will be seen playing the character Bhonsle.  Bhonsle is a terminally-ill local cop who took retirement against his will and finds himself blossoming unusual feelings for a 23-year-old North Indian girl and her little brother. When the conflict rages destroying the world around them knock his door, he gets ready for the one last battle worth fighting for. His journey begins with the advent of Ganesh Utsav and ends on the last day of the deity’s 10-days journey.  Bhonsle is directed by "Ajji" movie fame Devashish Makhija, which gives a broad view of the time when scheming local West Indian politicians use violence to rid the state of North Indian migrants.

A critically acclaimed actor, Manoj will be seen in filmmaker Neeraj Panday’s upcoming film “Aiyaari”, which also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. The film portrays Sidharth as an army officer sharing a mentor-protege bond with Manoj.
