You must have seen film-makers capturing some essence of Balasaheb's life in films like "Sarkar" but a biopic was never made on the iconic personality. You can say that Bal Thackeray's life was no less than a dramatic movie. Member of Parliament and Journalist Sanjay Raut wrote the life story of this iconic personality and Abhijit Panse directed this bilingual film. Balasaheb Thackeray who was popularly known as "Hindu Hriday Samraat", was an Indian politician, chief and founder of the Shiv Sena, Marathi ethnocentric party active mainly in Maharashtra and a right-wing Hindu nationalist. Balsaheb Thakrey doesn't happen in every generation and the film should reach out the globe like the film "Gandhi" did. So, the director reportedly felt that those intense controversies happening with Nawaz were good for the gossip tabloids, but not for an eligible actor who is signed play a national leader of significant status.

Nawaz puts his heart, mind, and soul into his roles and with Nawaz as a lead in this film we can expect some mind blowing performance. In the new teaser Nawaz is seen replicating the look of this enigmatic politician on point. First glance at the poster and you already know that Nawaz will ace this character as well!
