The upcoming movies of 2018 look yum and we just can’t stop drooling! What more could get you excited like a whole upcoming year of star studded movies! With big budgets, entangling storylines this year is somehow going to support a lot of VFX work and prosthetics! We are definitely not complaining. So, let’s take a look at the list of most anticipated big budgeted ventures of 2018:

1.     Thugs of Hindostan:
What gets us excited about the movie? The starcast, DUH! Amitabh Bachchan, Amir Khan, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Katrina Kaif on the same screen? Yes, please! The story is reportedly all fictional where Amir plays Amitabh Bachchan AKA the thug leader’s son! And if we are to believe the rumours then Fatima plays the female lead. And also have you seen the photos from the movie sets?!

2.     Hichki:
Yash Raj Films released the trailer of the Rani Mukerjee comeback and it had Rani in her best form. The ‘Front of the class’ inspired movie has Rani playing a teacher suffering from Tourette syndrome as she struggles to help a group of students fight the system. Maybe we’ll get the protective maternal side of Rani that she has been so secretive about with her daughter!

3.     Dhadak:
Imagine Sridevi and Shahid Kapoor, both desirable but weird when you imagine them together right? Not when you take Sridevi’s splitting image, Jhanvi Kapoor and Shahid’s younger brother Ishaan Khatter! The young debutants are paired opposite for the Sairat remake, and revolves around two people from different castes who fall madly in love.

4.     Dwarf :
The next SRK starrer is with his Jab Tak Hai Jaan star cast Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The movie is based on the journey of a vertically challenged man. The makers and SRK have claimed that not just is it a very high budget movie it will also have a lot of VFX work. SRK delivers wonderfully, be it with prosthetics or with heavy after effects so we are not worried about the movie and rather excited since Anand L. Rai and SRK have come together for the very first time!

5.     Student of the Year 2:  
Student of the Year launched three superhit stars and we are thankful to Kjo who has somehow disappointed fans as he has chosen Tiger Shroff as the lead in Student of the Year 2. Said to be the sequel to the first installment we would agree that it is quite difficult to picture Tiger as a student.

Nonetheless, none of the movies are worth a miss. Hence, be excited movie buffs, you guys are in for a good year.
