Bahubali 2: The Conclusion
Baahubali
2 is also a sensory overload – there is just too much spectacle. The camera is
constantly soaring and swooping on landscapes created by computers. Basically,
there is just too much effort to convince you that you are witnessing the
making of a myth, that this isn’t just a movie; it’s a legend on celluloid.
Dangal
Nites
Tiwari’s Dangal is both inspiring and entertaining. The film is based on the
Phogat family, Mahavir Singh Phogat, an amateur wrestler, who trains his
daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari to become India's first world-class
female wrestlers.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
Another
Rajshri film love story. Beautiful contraption of mush and melody rules with
strains of melancholy and mirth liberally thrown in between. Logic is again in
short supply and once again many will find that the idea is dated. But over the
years the banner has managed to strike a chord with the ingenuous among us.
Baahubali
Baahubali:
The Beginning is a remarkable achievement. What Rajamouli has pulled off here,
despite its flaws, is nothing short of a miracle, especially when you take into
account India`s notoriously risk-averse film-making environment and when the
film ends with a tantalizing cliffhanger (paving the way for Baahubali: The
Conclusion, due to release next year), one can`t help but applaud his
singularly brave vision.
Bajrangi Bhaijan
The
story feels like a novel written by Nicholas Sparks in a Versova cafe, with
Bhai standing next to him, micromanaging him with a smile. This movie was
actually Awesome. Both Main lead characters gave fabulous efforts.
