Kay Kay Menon’s `Vodka Diaries` completes shoot in just 20 days!

And..That is a wrap!

Film shoots tend to take anything between 30 days to a year. That is an established fact. `Vodka Diaries` the Kay Kay Menon-starrer murder mystery has called it a wrap in just 20 days.

Vodka Diaries cast also include Mandira Bedi and Raima Sen. The entire shoot was completed 15 days ahead of its schedule, despite several challenges. The thriller was shot in extreme weather conditions in the snow-clad regions of Manali. The temperature varied between minus 10 and minus 6 degrees. Debutant director Kushal Srivastava and his team were denied permission to shoot at certain locations. Even the flights bringing the cast and crew from Mumbai to Manali were canceled and roads were blocked following a snowfall.

Despite all odds, the team completed the shoot ahead of its deadline. Talking about the challenges, Kushal says, "We faced many hurdles like sudden rain and location issues but we always had a plan B. We had planned everything in Mumbai and we were prepared for the worst. I feel proud of the team and their professionalism. All the actors were very supportive."

Kay Kay Menon and Raima Sen’s  upcoming movie `Vodka Diaries` would see them sharing the screen after nine years. They were last seen together in the 2007 film Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. Mandira Bedi plays one of the protagonists, a romantic poet, in the film. She is playing a romantic poet in the film. Poetry for her dialogues is being written by famous poet Aalok Shrivastav.

A suspense thriller, Vodka Diaries is being made under the banner of K`Scope Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Vishal Karkera is the Producer and Kushal Srivastava, former assistant to Border director J.P. Dutta is the director. The release date for`Vodka Diaries` is set for 19th January 2018.
