Salman Khan`s Upcoming Movie Dabangg 3 Release is probably headed for a clash with Ranveer Singh`s Simmba. The Dabangg 2 sequel which was earlier slated a Christmas release, is now reportedly pushed back a week.

If reports are to be trusted, Salman Khan’s `Dabangg 3` might clash with Ranveer Singh`s upcoming movie Simmba. The Race 3 actor has reportedly said that he would not like his film to be released on Christmas to avoid a clash with SRK’s upcoming movie `Zero`. If film pushed back by a week, it will clash head-on with `Simmba`.

If released on the same date, the audience might have an overdose of action, since both Simmba and Dabangg 3 are of the exact same genre ( and pattern!!!) Apprehensions are at all-time high. Filmmaker Rohit Shetty who is directing the Ranveer Singh starrer is confident that such confusion would not take place as both films are quite different.

However, Arbaaz Khan who is bankrolling `Dabangg 3` is mum about its release date and has said that it would be revealed by April saying, "I’ll comment when I’m sure of starting the film. Currently, I’m concentrating on the script. I’ll have a clear idea by the end of April."

Shetty mentioned the difference between Simmba and Chulbul Pandey. “What usually happens is that Chulbul Pandey and Singham have become the iconic characters. When we were making Singham, a lot of people told us are ‘you trying to make a Dabangg kind of a film’, but the film has its own identity. This will always happen. Whenever a cop film will be made people will either draw comparisons with Dabangg or Singham. If the look and part are serious then Singham, if entertaining then Chulbul Pandey. Our cop (Ranveer) is not a Chulbul Pandey kind of a character,” said Shetty.

In the meanwhile, Salman Khan is shooting for his next film, Race 3. Ranveer Singh, on the other hand, has commenced shooting for his Upcoming Bollywood Movie Gully Boy with Alia Bhatt.
