Yes, after leaving Priyanka Chopra's film, Katrina Kaif will now be seen in the lead role with Salman Khan in the film. Ali Abbas Zafar, the director of 'Bharat', has announced this.

Salman and Katrina were last seen in the hit film 'Tiger Zinda Hai' in the year 2017. It was also directed by Ali. Ali is once again excited to work with this pair. More recently Katrina and Salman have seen together in Manish Malhotra Fashion Show.

Ali said in a statement: "I am excited to work with Salman and Katrina in India again. We have done a good job together before and it will be fun to work with both once again." About Katrina, director Ali Abbas Zafar says, "Katrina has been a part of the film in the last time and it will be interesting to work with a talented actress once again."

Ali recently tweeted Priyanka Chopra's film leaving the film and said that she left the film with 'special reason'. News about Priyanka's engagement with American singer Nick Jonas remains in the discussion. Salman Khan and actress Disha Patani have started shooting for the film. Katrina will start filming in September. Salman's sister's husband Atul Agnihotri is the producer of 'Bharat' and is the Hindi remake of South Korean film 'Ode to My Father'.
